The nine-bout card will feature a 136-pound main event between Yakima’s Jorge Alcala and Jose Hernandez and a co-main event between Charon Spain and Bryan Nuro.

Additional fights include a heavyweight battle between undefeated Luis Schwenke and Juan Figueroa and a contest between Lee Morrison and Patrick Benson.

Tickets for the all-ages show are available through the TicketsWest or the Yakima Valley SunDome (855) 305-4862. Preliminary bouts start at 7 p.m. Doors open at 6 p.m.

CageSport held its inaugural event in Yakima on April 23. The card saw the coronation of two new champions in Luis Iniguez, who defeated Albert Tadevosyan to claim the CageSport welterweight title, and Richard Foster reclaim the heavyweight crown with a victory over Sua Tunai at CageSport 62.

“The moment our first Yakima show was over we immediately started thinking about returning,” said CageSport general manager and Northwest Fight Promotions owner George Dodd. “We had such an incredible experience last time working with Legends Casino Hotel and the Yakima Valley SunDome. We couldn’t be happier coming back here.”

Alcala, who is a perfect 3-0 all-time in CageSport, will look to run his winning streak to six consecutive triumphs when he faces Hernandez. The local product is currently the No. 8 ranked featherweight in the Pacific Northwest, having won his last four bouts all by first-round rear naked choke.
Hernandez is no stranger to having his arm raised inside the CageSport cage as he has won his last two fights for the promotion.

Hernandez defeated Stephen Stirewalt by majority decision at CageSport 61 and Brandon Monteith by split decision at CageSport 55.

Spain, a former teammate of Alcala at Yakima MMA, will also look to continue his winning ways in CageSport. The Yakima resident has also won his last two CageSport fights with his most recent victory coming against highly-regarded Bobby McIntyre at CageSport 62. Spain, who is looking to notch career win No. 19, also bested Quinten Wyland by first-round submission at CageSport 59.

The Spain/Nuro bout will be a rematch from their CageSport 51 fight in 2018. Nuro (8-4) won the first meeting against Spain by third-round KO.

Highlighting the undercard will be the heavyweight fight between Schwenke (3-0) and Figueroa (3-1) and the bout between Morrison and Benson.

Schwenke defeated former CageSport heavyweight titlist Tuani in his promotional debut at CageSport 63 in his most recent outing, while Figueroa, a resident of Sunnyside, is coming off a first-round win via TKO over Josh McPherson at CageSport 62.
