Hometown Heroes Photo Display - Call for Submissions
Deadline: June 22, 2026

Help us honor the service and sacrifice of our community’s veterans and active-duty military members.

We are inviting submissions of photos featuring individuals who consider Yakima County their hometown or who currently reside here. Selected photos will be displayed at the 4th of July Community Celebration and the Central Washington State Fair, celebrating those who have served or are currently serving our country.

Please include the individual’s name, rank, and an optional 40-word or less message about what makes them a hometown hero.
